Edmund Burke was right, “All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.” Today I want to talk about the evil of bullying and intimidation being used to force others to bend to our will. It seems the days of “live and let live” are gone in America. Governments at all levels are intimidgating people into compliance with whatever they feel is best for them. And the American people not only stand for it, but they have also shown themselves more than willing to use government to impose their will upon others.
How can we call ourselves the land of the free if we are not free to live without government coercion? And how can we claim to be the land of the brave when we cower in fear of what our elected employees in government will do to us? It is becoming more and more evident that America is no longer run by the rule of law, but by the rule of intimidation.
