According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 38% of US Adults and 17% of teenagers are obese and efforts to get Americans to lose weight are having little to no effect. But could something as easy and simple as tapping on certain points of your body help reverse this trend?

Julie Schiffman, an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), practitioner is here with me to share her experiences with helping thousands of people lose weight and keep it off by using EFT and getting to the root cause of the emotions that are keeping the weight on and making it hard if not impossible for many to lose.

We talk about some of the many negative things we say to ourselves on a day to day basis and how this can cause our body to react in ways that don’t serve us.

Julie explains that our body ‘listens’ to us and hears when we say “we can’t lose weight” or “I can just look at food and gain weight” and according to her this is one reason people can’t lose weight especially if nothing is working.

We have a couple of tapping sessions as examples of what a tapping session is like. We tap for cravings and we tap for the belief that “it’s hard for me to lose weight”.
