Making lasting changes may take longer than we’ve been told! Jenna Smith says it takes 3 years to change a habit and not 21 days as previously thought. And making these changes may be easier than you think. Tune in to this week’s show and find out how you can make change easier and make it last.

Many people start out the new year making those famous New Year’s resolutions only to see them fall by the wayside a few weeks into the new year. One problem with making resolutions is setting them too high and not having a strong enough desire to follow through with them, oftentimes we make resolutions because we think we ‘should’ do this or that not because it’s what we really want.

Jenna Smith and I discuss why New Year’s resolutions are so hard to keep and what you can do to make real lasting changes to your life. One thing that needs to change is the ‘all or nothing’ mentality. This is not realistic and can set you up for failure at the start. A softer, less stringent mindset is better and less stressful and can help you gain momentum with those small successes which can lead to bigger ones and ultimately lead you to reaching your goal. Jenna Smith is a Shamantic intuitive and life coach and is also one of the co-hosts to the hit show on “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Pleasure.”
