The real question is, what idea of love will help us? What is love as the Bible defines? Can we really live up to God’s ideal of love? How do we live a life of love? What value does life really have? Is it something we can define by what we say or what we do? Does God actually bless us or is He running trouble our way on purpose? Is there any justice in a world filled with politicians that lie and cheat? These questions and many more are part of the journey we take with Lt. Joe this episode. We look at the freak show that is our national politics and look for the hopeful signs of a criminal investigation into those who have betrayed our nation. We see a glimpse into the personal side of life as Lt Joe gushes over his new baby granddaughter and connects the value of life and doing good in real time.
As a baby boomer, I’ve lived a few more years than any of you in the alphabet generations of X, Y and Z. I’m not saying that makes me smarter, age alone doesn’t give us that gift, though I wish it did. What life does give us, if we are lucky enough to still partake in the feast that is life, is a rear view mirror, a camera with a long lens, and more years of history. If we are smart, we have learned some lessons from history, both the long history of other countries and peoples and civilizations, and the short history of the lessons learned in our own brief lifetime. What we know at our age, better than you know at yours, is how truly fast life goes by. When I see friends that I have hung with in life dying, it’s pretty sobering. I think of the phases my generation went through that drove our parents’ crazy; the birth of rock n roll, the Beatles, long hair, Woodstock, Haight Ashbury, hippies, the anti-war demonstrations, free love. Our parents worried for us and our futures as we worry for yours. As I travel around this country and through […]
Having our military dollars going to an endless war in Ukraine and toward shooting down an endless supply of rockets and missiles over Israel helps China reach parity with our military. Banning all cars except those made with rare earth materials, it’s illegal to mine in the United States helps China’s economy, as does shuttering all forms of reliable and affordable energy. Our country is committing economic and political suicide…

The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) is misused to spy on Americans, including political figures and protestors. As Congress debates renewing Section 702, concerns grow about continuing abuses of power and the erosion of civil liberties. Remember Benjamin Franklin’s warning about sacrificing liberty for security as we face another potential renewal of these invasive powers.

The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Idaho legislators champion common sense, passing a bill to ban compelled speech in public schools and government entities. Effective July 1, this legislation ensures that no one in Idaho is forced to express beliefs they disagree with, protecting free speech rights. It’s a step towards safeguarding individual freedoms against coercive practices in educational settings.
What is happening is not by accident; what is taking place is a coordinated effort to import as many ‘bad guys’ into America as possible, with the ultimate goal of “fundamentally transforming” the United States of America. But transforming America into what? It’s pretty obvious to any objective observer what is underway, which is nothing less than an attempt to overthrow our free market Capitalist system and replace it with…

After Dark with Hosts Rob & Andrew – Even many legal experts on the left and right have come out to say the charges facing Trump are ridiculous, and no prosecutor would want to prosecute. But somehow, the current district attorney, Alvin Bragg, a Progressive Democrat, decided to resurrect the charges and elevate them to a felony. Oh, and by the way, he, too, had passed on charging Trump because he, too, saw “no there…there.”

The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Depending on what news outlets you pay attention to, you’ll hear claims of government corruption. Of course, these outlets and the people who trust their reporting will disagree about who in government is corrupt and what policies are corrupt, but we all pretty much agree that there is corruption. Unless we recognize our own biases and those of those we get our news from, we will forever be…
The Iranian Rial lost half of its value against the dollar over the weekend on the black market exchanges – the exchanges that the little people have to use when their government is oppressive. It is no secret that Iran has been economically falling apart for a while. But why, in a time of international crises, would gold lose to the dollar, and why would Bitcoin also lose so much ground to the dollar on the same weekend?

Truth Be Told with Booker Scott – Electing the right people has never been more important. Almost daily, we are reminded by their actions that the people we send to Washington, D.C., rarely put the people’s and the country’s best interests first. Elizabeth Helgelien was, at the time, the youngest person ever elected to represent her neighbors and district in Nevada’s state legislature…
