America, our country rich in history and tradition, was founded upon Christian-Judeo values, yet in these recent times we live through….Nationalism is under attack by the ignorance of those protesting our very existence, our flag and all it symbolizes. Those in contradiction, “kneeling” while reaping the rewards belonging to a free man born in the United States of America, bought and paid for by the brave souls who sacrificed their lives and legacy on battle fields so ALL Americans would have a voice whether deserving or not as we are witnessing the dismantling of historical events and erasing epidemic.
Protecting our children and their future is among our most important goal in this lifetime. It is refreshing to learn of mentors in our communities across this great country and spread their missions while elevating the minds and spirits of our young, providing them the history and hope for their generations to follow. I’d like you to meet one such person now, she is a true American Patriot, Judy Lane Frazier and her Nonprofit Organization, “We The Kids”.
Judy believes that this generation of America’s children deserves the opportunity to see America’s greatness “front and center”. After slowing her business pursuits she turned her focus on her charitable and educational pursuits. She started We The Kids in 2010 and has worked with the help of volunteers since then. Over a period of five years, she worked from her dining room table and used her own personal funds to create a non-profit business that would point children in a positive and patriotic direction, all the while learning about American history. As a past business owner, Judy brings over twenty- years experience to this innovative project.
Judy produces educational “living history” videos with local kids every other month at a local cable TV station. June 2015, she received a certificate from The National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution for being a keynote speaker. On November 2015 Judy received a Certificate of Appreciation for Volunteer efforts for City of South Bend Parks and Recreation Department. The focus is a return to patriotic values, respect for authentic and honest American history and a loyalty to America’s Founding Documents.
The mission of “We The Kids” is to reach, educate and inspire America’s youth with patriotic and positive messages that encourage kids to learn American History and to become engaged in it’s government. The goal is to bring the Constitution and American History to life for our children…..through our children. WE THE KIDS and Sea Quest Kids are non-profit organizations that promotes patriotism, American history, a deeper understanding of America’s founding documents and the principles upon which our country was founded.
The organization encourages kids to read, research, blog and interview real American heroes. The Kids have been involved with interviewing political leaders, historians, actors and Native Americans, working with civic groups, schools, home-school groups, American Legions, published authors, journalists and musicians.
Sea Quest is the leading program to motivate kids to want to learn different academic disciplines including all the sciences, history, lecture composition and public speaking and to build and sail a boat. Sea Quest kids learn the basic values of teamwork, manual skills, problem solving, and personal integrity. What better way to teach kids than to get them involved in doing real projects.
None of this has gone unnoticed…”We The Kids” has been endorsed by Col Allen West, Herman Cain, General Jerry Boykin, Chuck Heath (Sarah Palin’s brother), Jana Mashonee, Native American NAVA winner, White House Historical Association, Red Skelton Foundation, and HSLDA Group Services. Here is a brief update on some of the accomplishments of the organization:

RECENT NEWS: The most exciting news comes from the desk of Nathan Zakheim, the son of Bernard Zakheim and his fathers collection will be going up for auction in the months to follow. We The Kids will benefit by a donation from the sale of the collection. Tragically over 300 of their family members were murdered during the Holocaust. Nathan Zakheim, recognizes the importance of preserving history, as he himself an impressive artists as his family’s story was among the most heinous of crimes on earth.
Nathan Zakheim is the Senior Conservator at ARTpraisal. A sought-after conservation expert, he is the author of many conservation professional papers. A former member of the board of Directors at the Los Angeles Mural Conservancy, Zakheim as lead in the field of mural conservation with innovative conservation techniques and state of the art wall treatments since 1966. He served as an expert witness in many professional art-related matters.
Zakheim developed a proprietary “strap” method whereby the paint layer of an acrylic mural can be removed from a concrete wall and transferred to a new wall surface without damage. It was Nathan’s good fortune to have studied as apprentice to his father Bernard Zakheim, the classically-trained fresco artist and sculptor, as well as having studied the science of conservation with world-renowned art conservators.
His innovations in fresco and acrylic conservation have established heritage standards in use today in the USA and abroad. Zakheim truly revolutionized mural conservation elevating the status of a previously-considered temporary art form to that of Fine Art.
We are honored to be associated with such an icon as his father, Bernard Zakheim was an historian artist. The Zakheim family is one among millions, making America the great country it is today.
