These words from Eliyahu Goldratt, an Israeli business management guru, may very well be the most important words you read this year. “Good luck is when opportunity meets preparation, while bad luck is when lack of preparation meets reality.” Okay maybe they’re the second most important words after what Economist Harry S. Dent Jr shares with us on the show today.

President Trump just sent out a tweet as we were beginning our talk with Harry: Stock Market hits an ALL-TIME high! Unemployment lowest in 16 years! Business and manufacturing enthusiasm at highest level in decades!

So where is the problem then? Everything seems like it is humming along nicely. Consumers seem more confident, the stock market is kicking ass, the unemployment number keeps falling – and the tweet from the President is a good summary in that all indicators look pretty good. Don’t they? What do you say we ask the man who has studied every bubble in modern times and perhaps some from the Stone Age even.

We will discuss the stock market rise, the tax code rewrite, how the deficit plays into things, the Trump factor, even the natural disasters. Dent himself had to relocate because he was in the path of one of these hurricanes. A practical, direct and truthful talk as only Harry and Malcolm can deliver.
