Eating Your Way To Depression and Anxiety

It’s no wonder restaurants especially fast food restaurants use this ingredient in their foods. It is used in lab rats to fatten them, and it also causes food cravings and makes you hungrier so you eat more. It’s believed that MSG is one of the reasons Americans are so overweight. Some of the toxins we should avoid are GMO’s or Genetically Modified Foods and MSG or monosodium glutamate.

Eating a clean and healthy diet not only includes what we put into our mouths that’s good for us, but it also includes avoiding the bad things which are toxic to our body. Toxins are just as bad as not eating healthy. The cleaner we can eat and the healthier lives that we live makes it easier for our body to handle disease and illness. The key to eating healthy is to eat ‘real food’. The healthier we are the less dependent we will be on the health care system. This is more important now than ever because our health care system is collapsing right before our eyes.

The importance of eating ‘real food’ is that it gives us the raw materials our body needs to repair, heal, and function normally. For example, one of the things our body needs is Tryptophan in order to make serotonin and if we lack that in our diet then our serotonin levels could drop causing depression, anxiety, OCD, or any number of other ailments.

In today’s show Dr. Gary Kohls and I discuss the importance of eating healthy and how what we eat can greatly affect not just our health but our mood and mental well-being. Don’t be a statistic get informed and make better decisions. And today’s show will help you do just that.
