As the Coronavirus picked up steam earlier this year, church attendance across the country began to dwindle. Governors across the country began shutting down businesses who were considered non-essential to daily life⏤churches were at the top of that list. Although, most Christians across the country would not agree, churches began shutting their doors. Most, if not all churches, survive on a daily basis through the giving of their parishioners, called tithing. Tithing means you’re being obedient to God, so you should give without expecting anything in return. Giving, encourages a grateful and generous spirit and can help steer us away from being greedy or loving money too much. Some churches are even being penalized and fined.
In Greenville, Mississippi, police ticketed people who were sitting in their cars with windows rolled up in a church parking lot, as they listened to their pastor preach on their radio. Being at least close to their church, gave them more satisfaction of being in God’s Word. Similar instances such as this are playing out in towns and cities across our country.
Some churches have taken advantage of today’s technology and are live streaming their services through social media, where parishioners can also tithe online. The same social media run by left wing liberals who are doing everything in their power to destroy Christianity. We are living in a time of increasing threat to Christianity through most of today’s social media platforms. Many churches and people are beginning to ask the obvious question, “does it make sense to continue feeding the beast that hates us?”
These social media platforms use data mining as the core of their business models, and increasingly block those who spread the gospel truth about hot topic social issues. One of the leading alternatives for churches and Christians across the country, and even the globe for that matter, is a company named PraiseWorld3D. A new start-up company based in Florida that offers churches and Christians a one-stop, affordable solution and alternative.
PraiseWorld3D, offers a media-rich environment for the everyday Christian to immerse themselves in a place which is void of any prejudice or data mining. Their sole purpose in developing this 3D Virtual software, was to provide a haven for Christians to explore and meet people from all over the globe, have fellowship, and find entertainment in this 3D virtual world. Having a personal Avatar to move around in the world is part of the fun. For churches, PraiseWorld3D offers the next step in online ministry and fellowship. They offer live streaming along with On Demand Video Hosting through PraiseWorld.TV, PraiseTube and radio. Also inside the 3D Virtual world, you find lots of Christian music, concerts and more.
There’s no question that Christianity is decreasing in America. In 2016 Christians represented 73.7% of the total population. In 2019 Christians represented 65% of the total population. Beyond this virus, who knows the ramifications on churches. Many will close, and likely for good. This is especially unfortunate considering the climate we live in today. Unfortunately, the current situation feeds right into the liberal and Democrat agenda.
That agenda which supports things like abortion, and the selling of newborn body parts for profit through company’s like Planned Parenthood. Can there be anything more evil?
They even named the company in an innocuous way. They are an abortion clinic. There is nothing associated with planning for parenthood! That agenda is against everything of which Christian values are based on.
To Christians, the church is a necessity of life. Why? Because Christians believe that it is part of their duty to act in a moral way. This involves helping others around them. The church can play a vital role in assisting Christians to help others by providing things such as food banks for the impoverished. There are also many non-religious functions that can take place in church buildings such as, youth groups, community meeting places, adult education classes, charity events, and more. Christians believe that the church can be a stabilizing force for good in a world that is increasingly unreligious. Jesus taught the importance of helping others who are less fortunate.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36
An ancient philosopher by the name of Dostoyevsky, once said “If God does not exist, everything is permissible.”
Without churches around the globe, the belief in God and all He represents to Christianity, will likely continue to diminish. As a society, many people will begin setting their own moral compass and justifying their actions. For the 2.18 billion Christians in the world, of which I am one, our moral compass is tied to our belief in God. Our moral character is reflected in that belief.
I don’t want to imagine what this world would look like without the church. Life will always be a struggle between good and evil. The church offers a sanctuary to insure that good prevails over evil.
