Chick-Fil-A, a formerly conservative Christian corporation, has capitulated to pressures from LGBTQ activists who targeted the company because of the Cathy family were big supporters of traditionally Christian charities who hold a biblical worldview on homosexuality. In a bold move that some see as politically motivated, the corporation announced that it would no longer support the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, two organizations that hold conservative on homosexual sexual activities.
Joining me today to make sense of their decision is David Black, the founder of 2nd vote. Dr. David Black, a scientist, successful entrepreneur, and husband of former U.S. Representative Diane Black, has created an organization named 2nd vote. 2nd vote provides tools that inform and educate us about how corporation spend our money and how we can hold them accountable.

The good thing about Chikfila’s decision is that the LGBTQ community will get the message that Christians & evangelicals & ppl that love Jesus in general, do not mean to hate on or exclude those groups. We love them and they are our friends and fellow human beings. We don’t agree w lifestyle bc what the Word says….however, we are to love and include and welcome ALL. Think positive! God teaches in mysterious ways yknow. And all in His perfect timing….And He can and will take any bad situation resulting from our mistakes and turn them into blessings and learning opportunities for others to learn from (examples). He does everything from His LOVE for us. He wants nothing more than to be King of our hearts! Once He is, that empty void is filled. Just speaking from personal experience. The Cathy family is well known to my family and Bubba Cathy is a friend of my dad’s. Believe me they would NEVER do anything w their business that would be in rebellion to the Lord. NEVER. There’s always ‘the rest of the story’… never assume…it makes and ass out of u and me!
Sorry, their actions say otherwise. We all know actions speak louder than words.
