A three-hour-long taped recording of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif frankly recounting his years as foreign minister for archival purposes somehow made its way to Iran International TV (IIT), a London-based Persian news station that calls attention to the ayatollah-led regime’s abuses.

Zarif made the statement in an interview in March 2020, apparently intended to be released after the Rouhani administration leaves office in early August. The interview was conducted by Iranian journalist Saeed Laylaz who is close to Rouhani’s economic team.

The most important conclusions coming out of this bombshell interview are the following:

  1. There are no moderates in the Ayatollah’s regime.
  2. That John Kerry was and continues to be, the subversive and treasonous person he always has been

Let me share with you some of the revelations:

IIT shared the tape with The New York Times, which reported on it. On that tape, Zarif grieved – among other enormously revealing subjects – that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) keeps him out of the loop.

1 – With regret and anger, Zarif admits that he has been forced to “sacrifice diplomacy for the IRGC’s operations” because of interventions by former Quds Force Commander Qassim Soleimani terminated by order from Trump, with a US airstrike in January 2020, in Baghdad.

2 – Zarif asserted that Soleimani intervened in his meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, adding that Soleimani would never accept a demand by Zarif. “He would not accept to refrain from using the Iranian national airline for military to Syria,” he said, referring to transportation of arms and ammunition. Zarif said that under Soleimani’s pressures, Iran air increased the number of its flights to Damascus six times more than usual.

This is why the international community sanctioned several Iranian companies and airlines because they were transporting weapons to Bashar al-Assad’s forces and those fighting under Iranian command.

3 – Zarif further maintained, “That trip was made upon Moscow’s initiative without the Iranian Foreign Ministry having any control over it. Its objective was to destroy the JCPOA,” His explanation of how Russia harmed JCPOA had to do with its policy of using Iran in the Syrian civil war as the ground fighting force.

4 – Elsewhere in the interview, Zarif reiterated that Russia tried to destroy the JCPOA, and that he had to use a “rude and non-diplomatic language” in his talks with Lavrov at times.

5 – Zarif was very surprised regarding John Kerry’s revelation to him about Israel’s action, adding that Rouhani did not know about Soleimani’s intervention in diplomacy. He also revealed that the foreign ministry was kept in the dark about Iran’s military operations in Syria. “It was former US Foreign Secretary John Kerry who told me, Israel had launched more than 200 attacks on Iranian forces in Syria,” he said.

6 – Zarif admitted that “The United States knew about the attack on Ain al-Assad [January 8, 2020] in Iraq before I was informed of it,” adding that Iranian military officials told him about the missile attack on the Ukrainian civilian airliner on the same date, a day or two after the plane was shot down killing all 176 people on board.

7 – The foreign minister stressed that Iran always attached priority to its war operations. He said his role in determining Iran’s foreign policy was “nil.” Meanwhile, he maintained that Soleimani’s visit to Moscow immediately after the 2015 nuclear deal was forged as an attempt to destroy the nuclear deal.

8 – Explaining the Iranian psyche, he said that the people prefer a military champion to a diplomat, adding that as a result of that, his popularity dropped from 90 percent to 60%, while Soleimani’s popularity grew from 70% to 90%.

The above, among others, are the most important revelations pertaining to the mindset of the Ayatollahs’ leadership, its priorities, and internal conflicts.

What is crystal clear is the reality that not a single person in the regime has denied any of these revelations; on the contrary, the fact the Zarif is being reprimanded by his peers proves the accuracy of the recording.

These details prove that the terrorist regime is hell-bent on military domination of the Middle East by every means possible, especially by proxy terrorist entities, such as Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Kataaib in Iraq, and Houthis in Yemen, to name a few.

Zafir’s frustrations permeate the whole interview verifying the reality that there are NO moderates in the regime, whose sole purpose is to create the Shia-dominated Middle East and spread it all over the globe. This is a purely militaristic entity that must acquire Nuclear Weapons at any cost, and by any means possible.

Kerry, after all, was instrumental in bringing about the 2015 Iran deal, which the Israeli defense establishment and government, as well as the Sunni Arabs, strongly opposed and continue to view as extremely dangerous.

Yet Biden is hell-bent on making a deal with the Ayatollahs’ devil, ignoring all the information at hand proving how duplicitous, oppressive, and treasonous the regime is.
