You might call it historical, perhaps you might even reference it as monumental – the 2016 general election was one for the record books – no doubt. The polls, the pundits, the media were all caught snoozing. Perhaps it was in between their snoring-bouts when Americans captured their country back. This was an American Revolution like we've never seen before! I have many observations throughout this election cycle – with the biggest being that I think we were at the tipping point! Millions of Americans felt the same way and responded with their vote. With political ratings in the basement, there is a yearning to once again capture that 'Shining City on a Hill'.

As Ronald Reagan said “I've spoken of the Shining City all my political life. …In my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, windswept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That's how I saw it, and see it still.”
