Time To Reinvent Healthcare says Beverly Butler

What if we stop chasing symptoms and get to the root cause of what really ails us and fix it. Healthcare is about being SICK, maybe if we focus on WELLNESS instead we would begin to turn the tide – but how do we do that? It’s time to reinvent healthcare, says Author and Health Coach Beverly Butler.

Our bodies can only take so much, and when it’s had all it can take, it starts to send signals by way of symptoms to let us know something is wrong and that a problem needs to be addressed and fixed. When we are under a lot of stress, our fight or flight response kicks in. When you’re under stress – you can’t think. Your brain is lacking sufficient blood supply. In today’s society, our adrenal glands are kicking in way too often, so our bodies are stressed fight of flight state most of the time. The real question is… how can we cope and thrive with the levels of stress that we all face on a daily basis?

Beverly Butler is a Trained Health Coach. A former x-ray technologist. She has been studying health and wellness for over twenty-five years. She is an author – her first book THE MISDIAGNOSED CHILD is a comprehensive look at all the things we’re doing wrong and ways that each of us can improve our own lives. In this book she also exposes the corruption and deceit that is holding the healthcare industry hostage!!

The U.S. spends more money on healthcare per capita than any other country in the world, yet we have one of the sickest populations per capita than any other country on earth.

The top twenty pharmaceutical companies and their two trade groups, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and Biotechnology Industry Organization, lobbied on at least 1,600 pieces of legislation between 1998 and 2004. According to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics, pharmaceutical companies spent $900 million on lobbying between 1998 and 2005, more than any other industry. During the same period, they donated $89.9 million to federal candidates and political parties. What do you think the results of this indicate? We’ll discuss these numbers and why healthcare has become such an incredibly corrupt industry!

The pharmaceutical companies are so rich and powerful; they control the FTC, FDA, Congress, the medical schools, etc. Government control over our choice of healthcare may get worse before it gets better. How much worse are we talking about?

You have federal agencies, industries like the drug companies, and lobbyists hiring one another in order to carry out insider deals in the form of bribery to pass self-serving legislation and to give tax breaks to these unscrupulous companies who supposedly have the public’s best interest at heart.

Also, a very personal story on the struggles and journey forward with Beverly’s daughter and her fight to regain her health. It doesn’t get any more real life than this friends!
