SmallTownPoliticsPolceLeadership

He should have been given a commendation but instead this Special Forces veteran and 25 year Trooper was fired. Dan Anderson, the retired Washington Trooper took a job as a small town police officer in Brier, Washington. Eight months into his probationary period, he responded to an “officer needs help” call where three people were murdered in a neighboring community. Several days later, he was fired by the Chief for “leaving the town unprotected without permission”. But why?

There are many unanswered questions surrounding this obvious injustice that need answering. Yet one thing is most certain – this is an example of small town politics and failed Police Leadership. Dan joins me on the show today to discuss the details of the case that has changed his life forever!

Also on the show in my “View From The Blue” I’ll talk about police leadership and unity and how important it is to survive the current social environment.
