Like most national debates, there are two sides to this argument. One side of the debate is that Kaepernick and players believe that the cause is just and that using their careers for the betterment of an injustice is a fight worth having. The flip side is the disgust and disdain for our national heroes. The MEN and WOMEN who poured their blood on the battlefield of both foreign lands and streets of a city lost in crime. Where is the national pride? Was it really ‘social justice’ OR was it a Trump backlash, or was it the need for attention for a dying quarterback that had past his moment in the spotlight? Whatever it was–Colin Kaepernick had stirred the pot.
