Executive Chef Mina Carrillo is co-founder of the award-winning gourmet edibles company, Baron’s Confections. Originally an engineer by trade, Chef Mina left her fifteen plus year career to pursue life in the world of culinary/baking patisserie. Thus, she completed dual degrees in culinary and baking via the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu. Her entry in the cannabis sector was not by choice, but only because of her daughter suddenly falling seriously ill from a rare brain disease. After over 20 plus years of much reluctance and despair, Mina allowed her daughter to use cannabis, at the request of her daughter. After tasting cannabis for the first time her daughter exact words about cannabis were “I like this, it makes me feel normal it makes me feel free”.
