It is Christmas time again! I celebrate Christ every day of my life, and I pray you will too. You much know in your hearts, He is not pleased with the man in the red and white suit taking credit for anything.
We teach our children Santa is coming when this is an out and out lie. We make up stories to convince them they should be good while all of the time telling a lie.
Think about it, you are lying to your child and wanting them not to lie. You take them to church and tell them Jesus did it all, yet at Christmas, you create an idol for them to worship and fear.
How do you think God feels about all of this?
As a man thinketh in his heart…so is he. We invent lies and our life becomes a lie. Santa is not real and yet, we wonder why our own lives are based on naughty or nice. We think God can only bless us because of our goodness.
It is not by our works of righteous, it is by Grace we are saved. It is not our righteousness, it is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ came to the earth to bring us back to God’s original plan to have everything provided. He loved us while we were unlovable. He redeemed us while we were lost and without hope.
Father God’s provision for you has nothing to do with you; it has everything to do with Him. He does not place things underneath a tree to show you His Grace and Favor, He placed them on the Tree (The Cross).
He does not need the lights in our homes to lead us safely home, He made His home within us. There is nothing you can do to earn His love. He Is Love.
The Holy Spirit is grieved as He is being neglected until a more convenient time. He is seldom mentioned today of all days as this is for the man in the red and white suit. The quick prayer around the dinner table is barely noticed at all. Far too much time spent on food and sports to remember the works of Jesus.
Like with all things, this too must someday change. I hope today you will consider shifting from the place of non-reality to the reality of Christ Jesus. Who does not cry HO-HO-HO, but Holy, Holy, Holy.
Santa Clause is not coming to time and there are no flying reindeer. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin named Mary. He was and is the Son of the Living God. He came to heal and forgive.
He is alive today and seated at the right hand of the Father forever living to make intercession for us.
Jesus Christ is to be worshipped and praised. He is the King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, The Prince of Peace, The Everlasting Father and He shall reign forever and ever.
Today Is a day to say Father forgive me for turning Christmas away from Christ. Today, I honor the birth, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ inside of me, and never again lie to my child or myself about Christmas.
