If you think that “locker-room talk” is just an American phenomenon, where men make misogynistic statements while they are with other men friends, think again. Further, let’s not sit and pretend that women’s private conversations don’t become sexually charged and suggestive. It isn’t a trait unique to one gender. It is a global phenomenon and everybody is involved in it knowingly and unknowingly. But it’s just talk? Right? Or it is something deeper? And if it is just talk–what’s the fuss all about?

Locker room talk comes down to who is at the top of the totem pole–the biggest bragger if you will. Most of it is just rubbish and what is true–is exaggeration. In many cases these conversations depend on the group of talkers; some groups have more graphic styles of communication or humor, and some use it to bring others down and insinuate that the talk is more than just talk. One of the most famous “locker-room talk” moments would be credited to Donald Trump with that famous Access Hollywood tape that was leaked from NBC. Trump’s enemies or the political Left as we say – accuse the prez of sexual assault and so forth because the prez admitted ‘when you are a star you can pretty much do anything’. Does this equate to sexual assault or rape even? Was this bragging ‘locker room talk’?

Taz Thornton, Jennifer Breedon and Sgt. Betsy Smith dish it up real well here. Will Malcolm cave in to the pressure or fight for the male population? An explosive conversation for sure…brace yourself…
