Are you taking care of your mind, body, and spirit? If you don’t take care of yourself, then sooner or later you won’t be able to take care of all the other things in your life that truly matter. The ONLY way to achieve success and juggle family, work, and all the priorities in your life AND take care of yourself – is to place yourself at the very TOP of the list. Living a fulfilling, fearless and successful life can be achieved by anyone and it’s easier to do when you’re healthy. So don’t neglect your health on the way to the top because if you do you may never get there. Life is short and the older we get the more we realize that we’re not going to be here forever. We need to just forget the fear and do it anyway.
We’re talking today about how we as women can be successful and still be healthy in mind, body and spirit.
Lynnis Woods-Mullins is a radio host, emagazine publisher and owner of the site praiseworks.biz. She teaches women over 40 how to be well in mind, body, and spirit. Lynnis explains that a paradigm shift may be in order. “Make yourself the A#1 priority and you don’t have to make it difficult. You can begin to make a change in terms of your overall health and wellness by how you start your day. I learned to love myself…. Every day I have to work on not allowing stress to be the motivator to get things done.” explains Lynnis Woods-Mullins.
One of the most important things we can do is to face our fears whether it’s changing some aspect of ourselves or doing something we’ve never done before. “By the time you get to your 40’s, 50’s, and in my case soon to be 60, you’ve survived a lot. there isn’t too many things you haven’t experienced outside of ‘God forbid’ death so you know you’ll probably survive it so whatever it is it’s not going to be as bad as you might think it is,” says Lynnis. Breaking through the fear barrier is a major key to success. Fear can be used to help us prepare for that next step in life. We can use fear in a good way or bad way.
“You’re ultimate validation, you’re ultimate affirmation of affirming who you are comes from within you.” Lynnis Woods-Mullins
