Insanity Laced Accusations – but still no evidence of collusion in Donald Trump Jr.'s Russian meeting

The Breaking News once again that is being presented by the New York Times, the Washington Post, MSNBC and CNN is that they NOW have the Smoking Gun. This of course lends itself to the fact that everything they had before was shear male bovine excrement and it has hit the fan!

Donald Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., received an email based totally on and by its subject line that he was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton. The email was provided/sent by a former Trump acquaintance, British Public Relations flack, after which, he agreed to meet with the so-called Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer early on during the 2016 campaign.

Of course, when someone offers opposition research on a political opponent, the normal and rational response is – to ask to hear about it or to actually see it, who wouldn’t? I offer you the reverse situation; if the Clinton Campaign was offered political dirt on Donald Trump by the Russians or any other foreign government they would be there immediately with their checkbook in hand. Certain, if the same was offered to the mainstream media, they too, would be there ready to obtaining it … and of course, hand it directly to the Clinton Campaign and ready to cover the story about. This is evident as you read this article, as the mainstream media is STILL running the false fake news narrative about this story about Russian collusion.

Just as the “Russian collusion” fantasy is a resentful smear, indignation, made-up by the Clinton campaign in the immediate aftermath of Ms. Clinton’s stunning and brutal defeat last November — was finally fading from the fever swamps of the “resistance” and its media mouthpieces, along comes the Times with a pair of journalistic “Nothing burger.”

They first reported that Trump Jr., along with Paul Manafort (then the campaign manager) and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, met with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Russian lawyer “linked to” the Kremlin, back in June, shortly after Trump had clinched the Republican nomination. The second claimed she’d promised dirt on Clinton and the Democrats in order to entice Trump Jr. and the others.

According to Donald Trump, Jr., the Clinton angle that was initially offered in the subject line of the email was just a ruse: “Her statements were vague, ambiguous and made no sense. No details or supporting information was provided or even offered.”

As a former senior intelligence officer and operative who has worked extensively in the realm of information operations, psychological operation, and strategic influence, I firmly believe that Ms. Veselnitskaya’s actual reason, for using the subject line in her request to meet with the younger Trump was merely an attention-getter. Know full well a request for a meeting on her real topic would go nowhere. It seems that Ms. Veselnitskaya real intent was because she wanted to lobby for the repeal of the Magnitsky Act, an Obama-era law that allows the U.S. to deny visas to Russians thought guilty of human rights violations. In retaliation, the Russians promptly ended the adoption of Russian orphans by American citizens. Of course, such a discussion on that topic would most certainly been extremely premature at that point in time of the U.S. presidential campaign, but in the end does provide great cover for the so-called Trump campaign-Russian collusion fake-narrative.

To that end, that’s what all the Democrats, political-left and the mainstream media’s hysteria is all about. Both sides and all politically-inclined and political pundits know that there is not a single political campaign that in its right mind would turn down an offer of derogatory political, personal or legal information, opposition research or essentially dirt on their opponent. That is what opposition research is all about. That is why the Democrats National Committee and Party, left-wing PACs, and even the political campaign establish and set-up “war rooms” Let me again, offer this proposition; I guarantee and you can bet on it that Hillary Clinton’s campaign would not have ever hung-up on any person, no matter their degree of credibility who contacted their campaign claiming to have dirt on candidate Donald J. Trump. After all, everyone knows that the Clinton campaign lobbied, bought and paid for anything from anyone across the business, entertainment, political and sports world to release potentially embarrassing, damaging and even false information, i.e.; fake-news story to be used against Mr. Trump and his family. Even going as far as to find, or entice women any woman, even if they never met any of the Trumps, who were willing to say anything on tape, camera, or in a written statement to be used to delegitimize, smear and destroy Trump.

Despite the meeting and even as of today, as Donald Trump, Jr. release the text of the actual email chain — in the end, the lawyer Veselnitskaya had nothing offer, despite her claim in the email subject line, she gave nothing, she got nothing in return, in a meeting that lasted roughly 20-minutes. And as for the Trump campaign, it got nothing in return for the time they provided to Ms. Veselnitskaya. So the question, once again that must be asked is; Where is the scandal? What is the actual scandal, and more seriously, where is the EVIDENCE? I for one want to see ‘proof-positive’ that there in fact was collusion that resulted in Hillary’s loss in the November 2016 Election. I need to see verifiable proof. Not the constant ‘bullshit theory’ that the Democrats, the political-left, and the mainstream media forever falsely imply.

With regard to the email from the source, again a British public relation flack by the name of Rob Goldstone, the title of the email alone is explosive, but as for the contents of the emails and the discussions during the meeting produced nothing.

So now, as of early this afternoon, in what is obviously a pre-emptive strike against the New York Times’ so-called bombshell report (not, it’s not a bombshell report, it’s male bovine excrement), Donald Trump, Jr. took to Twitter Tuesday to has released the entire printouts of an email chain that eventually led to Russia meeting with a Russian lawyer … which amounted to nothing. Trump said he released the documents “in order to be totally transparent.” To highlight the fact that there is nothing there, Donald Trump, Jr. in two tweets, covering four pages of emails, and one statement were released.

The statement read:

To everyone, in order to be totally transparent, I am releasing the entire email chain of my emails with Rob Goldstone about the meeting on June 9, 2016. The first email on June 3, 2016 was from Rob, who was related a request from Emin, a person I knew from the 2013 Ms. Universe Pageant near Moscow. Emin and his father have a very highly respected company in Moscow. The information they suggested they had about Hillary Clinton I thought was Political Opposition Research. I first wanted to just have a phone call but when that didn’t work out, they said the woman would be in New York and asked if I would meet. I decided to take the meeting. The woman, as she has said publicly, was not a government official. And, as we have said, she had no information to provide and wanted to talk about adoption policy and the Magnitsky Act. To put this into context, this occurred before the current Russian fever was in vogue. As Rob Goldstone said just today in the press, the entire meeting was “the most inane nonsense I ever heard. And I was actually agitated by it.”

Further, it extremely important to note that until this release of the email chain, only Don Trump Jr. and more than likely the President Donald Trump’s closest inner-circle and lawyers have seen these emails. Not a single reporter has EVER, until now, seen these emails, or any emails about pertaining to this. Remember, until this release all the mainstream media reports on this story was all based on supposition, expectations, rumor, gossip, innuendo, etc. – In other words, it’s once again all FAKE NEWS. No surprise!

Now, nevertheless, having established the smear of “collusion,” the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media, particularly the Washington Post, MSNBC, and CNN must now link every single story with the word “Russia” to it in the hopes and expectations that their low information readers and viewers won’t stop believing that Donald Trump ‘somehow’ cheated his way into the White House.

But the mainstream media, the Democrat Party, members of Congress and the Senate and the political left are desperate. They are delusional and hysterical over everything Donald Trump – they are going insane. My message to them is simple this. You don’t get it. Haven’t you learned, hasn’t the New York Times or the Washington Post or MSNBC or CNN learned from every aspect of their fake news narratives that they have all been disastrous and devastating to their readership, ratings and political approval polls. Further, the journalistic practices of all the mainstream media are in the toilet — anonymously sourced that offers no credibility about the Trump campaign’s so-called repeated contacts with Russian intelligence. Despite the constant his twisted stories, albeit lying in his Congressional testimony over the last several months by former FBI Director James Comey, he said; “In the main, it was not true.”

Let me also remind our readers of the fact that while everyone getting spun-up over Donald Trump Jr. bogus meeting — I’ve seen this movie before –they are forgetting that Clinton allies did the same thing. As the mainstream media are breathlessly over reacting to a New York Times report claiming it supported the theory that members of the Trump campaign were somehow involved in the Russian government’s hacking and colluded with the Russians to win the election over Hillary Clinton, she was doing the same.

Donald Trump Jr., Kushner and Manafort’s lone meeting with the Russian lawyer pales in comparison to the extensive coordination between Clinton allies and Ukrainian government officials who hoped to see Clinton win the 2016 election. In fact, a veteran DNC operative who previously worked in the Clinton White House, Alexandra Chalupa, worked with Ukrainian government officials and journalists from both Ukraine and the U.S. conduct opposition research on Donald Trump. Ms. Chalupa also provided her anti-Trump research to both the DNC and the Clinton campaign.

The question now is, where does this go, and what is the next move perhaps by the Trump administration. Let us first, look back on other previous accusations that essentially amounted to nothing. There are the other “collusion” stories that the Democrats, politic-left and of courses the mainstream media are continuously trying to peddle as proof of some sort of sinister plot to subvert democracy. Again, all this because they refuse to accept the results of the 2016 election and Hillary Clinton’s loss.

Going forward there are several factors that must also be address from the stand point of reality. Political campaigns are in fact forms of warfare, void of hostilities — at least they are supposed to be. With that point in mind, outside of involvement of incumbent candidates, who obviously and technical are employees of local, state and or the federal government, campaign laws are governed by the FEC rules which mainly address financing and election laws. When it comes to messaging, information, social media, and campaign and opposition research, other than the First Amendment, the standards are what is acceptable by the general public and voters. The Trump administration will need to be steadfast and vigilant of the continued efforts by its detractors who sole mission is to press with an onslaught of accusations, false-narratives, and harsh and corrosive lies to delegimise, damage and destroy the presidency of Donald Trump by any means necessary.

On Tuesday, Sebastian Gorka, Deputy Assistant to President Trump, speaking on CNN’s “New Day,” categorized the Trump campaign’s efforts to gather compromising information on Hillary Clinton as “what political campaigns do.” Further saying, “…there was nothing wrong with Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, and that there was; “Nothing illegal, not in Don Jr.’s meeting.”  He said that, Ms. Veselnitskaya had no connection to the Kremlin and that; “There was no connection … she was a private lawyer who had an interest with regard to the Russian adoption program and used a pretext to get a meet with the campaign — which the campaign representatives almost immediately realized was not done in good faith. That she had another agenda.”

Natalia Veselnitskaya told NBC’s “Today” show on Tuesday that she was summoned to meet with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower during the 2016 presidential campaign and asked if she had information about Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Ms. Veselnitskaya said she received a phone call from a man she didn’t know asking her to meet with the Trump campaign. She said she didn’t have any information on the Clinton campaign and has never worked for the Russian government.

Even the New York Times on Sunday reported that Donald Trump Jr. met with Veselnitskaya only after he was promised damaging information about Clinton. Donald Trump Jr. and Ms. Veselnitskaya have since denied discussing the 2016 race, with the former claiming they instead discussed U.S. adoptions of Russian children.

And of course, the Democrat leadership was quick to rush to judgement Tuesday to cast Donald Trump Jr.’s newly released emails as evidence of “collusion,” going even further with the harsh indictment in accusing the president’s son of treason. During Tuesday’s press briefing, White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about words like “obstruction of justice,” “perjury” and “treason” being used against the Trump team.

Sanders reply; “I think those new words are ridiculous.”

George Washington University Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley argued that Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer may not have been smart optics, but is also not at all criminal. Turley noted; “It is like we have this giant Rorschach test and people see whatever they want to.  The criminal code has defined elements to it. You just don’t find these ambiguous crimes. Some people have said this could be treason. For the love of God, treason is defined in the Constitution. This is not treason. Other people have said this could be a Logan Act violation. Well, Logan Act has been used once in 200 years and is facially unconstitutional. One said, well, if you take things of tangible value under the campaign laws and treat information like that, then maybe you have a campaign contribution violation. Well, yeah, but we haven’t seen that done. You could also treat it like a panda and say it’s an endangered species violation, but courts haven’t done that. So, I think that people need to take a breath.”

Turley further discussed the impact of the slippery slope and dangerous road that the Democrats want to takes us down, explaining that; “What I’ve said to a lot of my friends who do legal analysis is, is this really the world you want to live in, where we broaden the definition of crimes so far that most any conversation could be a criminal act?”

He went on to say that; “That’s a very dangerous world to live in, but more importantly, if information is now a thing of tangible value under federal campaign laws, then the Clinton campaign could be charged with the same type of offense, and a wide variety of other campaigns could be charged. I mean, there’s a point at which you have to show some element of maturity and stand back and tell people look, this is worthy we have an investigation. But you shouldn’t suggest that this is clear evidence of a criminal act.”

Bottom line, for the record, as of now there is purportedly still no evidence suggesting a link between any damaging information against Hillary Clinton coming from Russia, the Russian government computer hacking of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Hillary Clinton’s campaign, or any collusion between the Moscow and the Trump campaign. Despite the all the false narrative suggestive, implied or contrived story put forth by the ever-hysterical mainstream media led by the New York Times, we can they will continue their insanity based purely on rumor, gossip, innuendo and hate-based political theory. Rush Limbaugh on Tuesday noted that the mainstream media is imploding and consuming itself, because of its hysteria and insane behavior, and by and for its failure to show any journalistic integrity, lack of truthfulness, and major failure of no longer being the impartial and independent purveyor of investigating the facts. It is now quite apparent and more obvious than ever that the likes of the mainstream media has decidedly chosen to become the fake-news arm and public relations false-narrative machine of the Democrat Party, the political-left, and the vicious and vile mouth piece for and standard-bearer of anti-American militant apparatchiks, radical Socialists and Islamo-fascists, and Communists of the world.
