In perhaps one of the biggest media and government affairs scandals of the current Election/post-Election season, and its phony accusations against President-Elect Donald Trump — now the impact of the latest expose sharing the front page news with the Senate Confirmation Hearings is zeroing in on news organizations to include CNN and BuzzFeed, and soon perhaps other news organizations, along with the Intelligence Community (IC), and even a member of the Senate, need I mention names…I will.
It started when BuzzFeed posted a 32-page unverified dossier on Thursday which they claim is from an intelligence source — and it includes terrible and salacious allegations of Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election, as well as scandalous accusations of sexual perversion committed by President-elect Donald Trump.
There is however one problem … the document is obviously a cheap fake forgery. The so-called intelligence document contains numerous errors that immediately raised red flags, certainly within the IC, — which was more than obvious to any reasonable person. In fact, the first line of the document proves it’s clearly fabricated and fake — it reads, “CONFIDENDIAL/SENSITIVE SOURCE.” First and foremost, the U.S. and British intelligence community and organizations, respectively, do not use such a header in any form of classified documents and or reports, or in any level of sensitive material.
Further, the actual verification of this is the latest version “fake news,” or at least form of fake news, but in the form of “fake intelligence” derived from the imaged-based internet bulletin-board based site “4chan.” As it appears, and for the most part has been verified, by the career professionals themselves inside the IC, who toil in the depths of America’s intelligence system. These career specialists and experts are the diligent, ardent, credible and hardworking intelligence professionals – vice, the fake, phony politicos – or as they are known ‘the political appointees’ placed at the helm of the upper echelon of the top layers of running the IC. There has been no confirmation from senior IC officials or sources that the information is false. These politicos are the same officials who are solely responsible for crafting, orchestrating and implementing the bullshit that comes by way of instructions and orders from, that originates from, the current White House and administration in the form of foreign policy and national security strategy, or so they call it. They are the heads within government that take direction and guidance and operationalize policy into strategy and operations, be it diplomatic, economic, military or informational. In many cases, they have the authority and the ability to push back if they see a plan or policy to be questionable, illegal, criminal, or unconstitutional. They also have the ability to redo it, reshape it, reorganize it, rename it, and or disguise it in order to hide, obscure, deceive, or lie about the intent and purpose of policies or operations to protect the administration if it fits the decision or the narrative of the current President’s intentions or desires.
From disinformation campaigns like the Arab Spring which was the impetus for removing longtime U.S. allies in Tunisia, Yemen, and longtime U.S. regional partner and stalwart Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, to Benghazi’s fake video story, to the kind of crap dished-up during the 2016 Election – i.e.; the Russian hacking of U.S. voting apparatus, to this latest episode — of intelligence briefings and the so-called phony revelation of President-Elect Trump’s relationships and involvement in with Russia and made-up travel stories of his corporation’s senior aide. These were efforts to mislead and deceive, by way of deception, distraction and deliberate lies, period.
Further, these acts and episodes in the final weeks of the election, post-election and remaining days before the Inauguration, are the final desperate efforts and the last gasps by the likes of the senior intelligence and national security “phony” officials, who are the sources and whose hands have been in the works of the failed national security policies within this fake and scandal-ridden administration. These are the schemes and acts dreamed up by the likes of people such as Ben Rhodes, the failed comedy writer, who servers as Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor. The likes of these people, who have never served a second of their lives or stepped a foot inside national security or IC as intelligence and or national security professionals and officers, until they were hired by anti-American ideologue, Barack Obama.
Further, enter another entity, the Establishment Republicans by way of Arizona Senator John McCain and anti-Trump Republican Establishment strategist and operative Rick Wilson. In this diabolical scheme, it was McCain and Wilson who started the ball rolling with this fake intelligence report – McCain providing the so-called secret intelligence report to the FBI Director James Comey, and Wilson offering to the CIA senior Obama political appointees.
Both the senior level appointees at CIA on behalf of their boss in the Oval Office took the handoff and ran with it. Obviously, led by their notions, ideas, and lack of understanding of the intelligence methods, trade-craft, and the processes involved are based on what they see in the stuff that’s made and comes out of Hollywood — trying to mimic, imitate, and implement unrealistic fantasy into real life situations. They saw this as the smoking gun to once and for all take down Trump. They like most of the elites of the Democrat Party and in Hollywood and the entertainment business, are out of touch with the realities of international crises and multi-tiered, multi-dimensional situations like Syria as they are with the daily grind and struggles of the average American. They write foreign policy white papers and proposals, like screen writers write scripts for the latest episode of CSI or Madam Secretary who solves major crimes or international crises in less than 60 minutes. The end-state is always successful just as was written in the script. Unfortunately, in this case, part of the script, that being the fake intelligence (report), was made-up and did not meet the validation requirements necessary in the really world of intelligence, which is real life reality, not the pretend world of Hollywood. Likewise, as previously noted, the fake intelligence report about Mr. Trump was not even authentic in terminology and or format.
So like in the recent phenomenon of Fake news, and now “fake intelligence” both are becoming the failed hallmarks of the anti-Trumpers dreamed-up efforts to try and propagandize the general public, low-information voters, and their millennial snowflake and safe-space followers into believing that somehow their latest idea, again like a pretend Hollywood scripts, will come to really as the smoking gun to terminate Donald Trump’s Presidential bid. You would think that everything that has been thrown at Trump over the past 18-months, in the minds of the country’s ever-more skeptical voters, with nine-days remaining before Inauguration Day would see right past another anti-Trump charade. Yet in the minds of the mainstream media and Establishment Democrats and Republicans, they still hope, as a result, of this something, just something might happen to cause Donald Trump to have to remove himself, or be removed by some ever-enlightening judicial and or legal fiat from their lawyers, or from the false narrative and phony story they are attempting to tell in this latest screen play of bad behavior starring Donald Trump in Russia.
Furthermore, as it has now been determined to be false — this fake story, back-up by the new twist of fake intel, is once again a tale of much ado about nothing. Yet again, in retrospect, it just goes to show the length the mainstream media, the political left and the Democrats, and even members of the Republican Establishment will go, latching on to anything that they hope will support their effort to destroy Donald Trump. Of course, this effort to delegitimize Trump’s forthcoming administration and to render ineffective before January 20th, or to personally destroy Mr. Trump will continue even after he becomes President. Unfortunately, like fake news, fake intelligence has its pitfalls, and perhaps more so, to a greater degree, as a results of the need to validate and verify black world sources. Unlike the business of journalism and the media, unsubstantiated reporting in the realm of intelligence must be backed by legitimate, factual, and truthful sources and methods — many of which are validated and are verifiable by much harsher parameters that are established and grounded by consequences that many times involve individual decisions of life and death.
In the end, wWhat we are witnessing is a sign of desperation on the part of the mainstream media which has given-up pretending to report facts about Donald Trump anymore. They along with the political left, and more so the Establishment Republicans are now essentially openly admitting that their latest salacious report about Donald Trump and Russian prostitutes is not backed-up by any evidence, or is unsubstantiated and corroborated sources. Further, having now fallen in to the trap of trying to integrate “false intelligence” information into their ongoing strategy of attempting to catch President-Elect Trump once and for all in an indiscretion the shot themselves in the foot, if not the face. The effort in reality has revealed their ignorance by trying to play their normal game of deception, misinformation, and lying, where lack of evidence and failure to prove it as fact — allows rumor and innuendo to sometimes persist and remain in the background for many years.
By incorporating “fake intelligence” into the mix, and worse believing themselves that it was true, they have established a new level by which any story they put forward in the future will be held to a much higher standard and stricter degree scrutiny.
In the meantime, in a separate, but yet to be determined closely tied aspect of this whole story, U.S. Senator John McCain is attempting distance himself from a dubious fabricated “fake intelligence” report. McCain acknowledged in a statement saying; “Late last year, I received sensitive information that has since been made public.” Further saying that; “Upon examination of the contents, and unable to make a judgment about their accuracy, I delivered the information to the Director of the FBI.” Albeit gleefully. Further stating; “That has been the extent of my contact with the FBI, or any other government agency regarding this issue.” In reality, McCain realizes that his motives and missteps and as a result, doesn’t want to be anywhere near the ensuing shit storm. Our initial bet was on the latter … and McCain’s backtracking would appear to be an early signal in that direction. If this report were even borderline legitimate, there is no doubt, Senator McCain would be eagerly doubling down on his irresponsible rhetoric regarding American-Russian relations. Perhaps, for the Senator his next course of action would include, lawyering-up, removing himself from the Senate Armed Services Committee and Ex Officio of the Intelligence Committee, and seriously consider retiring quickly.
