I’d love to hear your ideas on the subject of excellence and how it relates to the bigger picture of success in our careers! You can email me at Linda.Martinelli@proforma.com
Linda Martinelli has not only overcome adversity to become a successful business owner, but she has also paved the way for other women in business. In 1998, Linda Martinelli, a single mom of three, left her high-profile position with corporate accounts in the printing and office products industry to follow her passion and own her own business.
Her favorite business topic is customer service and how it can make or break a business. The big question is… Are we losing this vital skill in the workplace and if so, how can we recapture it? Linda shares her sales skills, techniques and tactics here on America Out Loud in her weekly column.
Linda Martinelli was the first sole female franchise owner in Proforma to qualify for the Million Dollar Club and reach Multi-Million Dollar Club status. She was also Proforma’s first female development coach and in 2005, was the first female elected by her business peers to the elite Owners Advisory Council. In 2011, Linda was named one of ASI’s Top 10 Women to Watch and earned Proforma’s inaugural Women’s Leadership Award in 2012.
Linda is the recipient of the International Franchise Organization’s, prestigious Franchisee of the Year Award, and their Multimillion Sales Award for 17 straight years. She is also the recipient of Proforma’s Innovator Award, The Best of the Best, its Top 12 Franchises in the Country Award in 2013 and 2015, the Highest Revenue Award, with several more corporate franchise distinctions. Linda has been honored by Inc. Magazine as having been repeatedly listed on their 5000 Fastest Growing American Private Companies.
Linda consistently demonstrates a passion for helping others succeed. She is willing to share her sales skills, techniques and tactics to help others grow their businesses to help others continue to move ahead. Her favorite business topic is customer service and how it makes or breaks businesses, how we are losing this vital skill and how to recapture it. She often tells women business owners that there is no such thing as a “Glass Ceiling,” and that the business world is full of infinite opportunities to succeed with the right combination of sales skills, tenacity and commitment to customer service.
As a passion, Linda genetically breeds, raises and competes in the Bucking Bull futurity and Professional Bull Riding events. Her prize bull Ringo Kid is the current Futurity World Champion of the Million Dollar Bucking Bull Games.
